International Day of Peace Celebrated in Ontario, Canada

September 21, 2006 was celebrated as the International Day of Peace at the
Varley Art Gallery in Unionville, Ontario, Canada. The event featured Peace
One Day, a DVD that documents the incredibly moving six-year journey of the
young British filmmaker, Jeremy Gilley, as he traveled around the world
engaging leaders of many countries, including the Dalai Lama and Kofi Anan,
to create one international day of peace.

Healing Ravaged Lands

On November 29, 2005 in New York City, CPC sponsored "Theatre of Hope:
Fostering Healing in War Ravaged Lands," a video-lecture (with live
performance) presentation by Bond Street Theatre of New York and Exile
Theatre of Kabul describing creative work in refugee camps and areas of
conflict, especially in Afghanistan.
