This Spring Julie will offer semi-private experiential sessions which include intention setting, mindful movement and yoga, breathing exercises, guided relaxation, and meditation. She holds the space for you to be fully present in body, mind, and heart to release tension and stress. These sessions help to jumpstart or reconnect you with a personal practice of self-care. All experience levels of mind-body practices are welcome, from no experience to seasoned meditator. Spaces are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.
Julie Pellerin-Herrera has 20 years of experience as an educator, Certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher, Radiant Child Yoga Teacher, Certified Trainer in the Nurtured Heart Approach, skilled mentor to teachers, as well as the busy mother of two young boys. From direct experience, she understands the culture of our educational systems and the challenges facing both teachers and students.
As an expert in mindfulness skills and strategies, both for adults and children, Julie uses a variety of techniques to explore personal and professional stressors and to teach ways to skillfully navigate challenging situations. Sessions might include guided meditations, yoga instruction, meditation, intention setting and meeting one’s goals. She is highly trained in developing healthy and supportive relationships with children (and others) using the evidence based Nurtured Heart Approach.
